The ideal candidate should have bookkeeping experience in Malta. The role will compose the responsibilities of keeping daily company financial records, working closely and supporting the manager when needed. This position is ideal for those who already have experience but also for those who are early in their bookkeeping career and want to learn more and progress in their career. The bookkeeper position is full-time and an in-house position at the Malta office. Since we are an international organization the job will contain Maltese and international control. Next to that international traveling will be an opportunity as well.

Main tasks:
The bookkeeper would be responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and providing assistance with other accounting operations as needed.
Must have:
- Able to work on own initiative
- Excellent oral and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ambitious and highly motivated with an eye for detail
- A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy (or equivalent)
